Writing Conferences

Standard: Analyze how complex characters (e.g., those with multiple or conflicting motivations) develop over the course of a text, interact with other characters, and advance the plot or develop the theme.

EQ: Analyze how a character in Macbeth develops over the course of a text.

Starter:

Create a Diagnostic Writing Concern for us to discuss during one-on-one conferences.
This should be related to a concern in your TPEQEA's.

Dictionary Definition:  is when you evaluate a character'straits, their role in the story, and the conflicts they experience.
Your Definition: 
Activity: Brainstorm ideas for what should be included in a character analysis.

Activity

As a class we will review these three questions together. 
Remediation has been posted as 4 remediation 2/26 and must be completed by next Monday. 


We will go over the instructions together.
Your goal for today is to complete the brainstorm section and begin to work on at least ONE of your TPEQEA paragraphs.

Final Due Date: Thursday, March 8.
