Share the questions you created from you SQ3R yesterday.
We will use these for our discussion.

With a partner read through pages 96-127.
As you read think about how the ideas of conflict, family, and freedom develop the plot.
How does it create a deeper meaning?
Lastly, select a quote that you think is significant in creating the meaning of the graphic novel.
Write it down because you will use it for a small group discussion later.
You will get together in groups of 3.
Assign yourself letters A, B, and C.
Letter A will share the quote and B and C will discuss what it means and its relevance for 3 minutes.
Then, letter A will share their interpretation.
Repeat for everyone to share.
We will share ideas that were talked about to the whole class.
Closure:
Identify a similarity and difference between Night and Maus.
